Just crazy you basically have an office in the nose of a plane. As a kid I played the B17 Mighty 8th game and always liked playing navigator and sitting at the table with a little lamp.
Suffice to say, an 8 year old does not have the mathematical skills to manually navigate a plane formation with a paper map and tools. So I usually spent most of my time never rendezvousing with our escorts and getting shot down.
