For those unaware, DLsite is probably the biggest website where people buy their Japanese gooner games. A while back they censored some of their tags, in an attempt to appease visa/mastercard, by renaming them.
This kind of censorship is so dumb, if a a phrase equals another phrase and everyone knows what it means what are you really censoring?
Like ok you said unalive instead of kill, wow… thanks for saving the children.
I do NOT agree, with the self censorship, it shows a lack of self respect, the same stupidity that people show on tik tok and youtube, like “unalive” and all that bullshit.
Have a little self respect and call things what they are using correct language.
People need to stop being submissive to companies.
