Literally on my first day at my first job when I was 16, I was chatting with a middle aged woman while I took her order at a local fast food place. I told her it was my first day and I was still figuring out the system, she was super nice and encouraging.
I messed up her order.
She wrote a customer feedback note complaining about me and calling me stupid.
