please don’t be like this. men say this to women all the time, and it’s an insidious form of misogyny. it’s also related to tone policing and controlling others for your own comfort
let people feel what they feel, and express it on their own faces. if you have a problem with someone not smiling, examine your own feelings and reactions without trying to force your preferences on them
