American politics stuff so my bad, but Dude posts the most Luke warm take, a sequence of events that have been talked about since early yesterday, even Charlie (moistcritikal) in his video brought up 90% of the things this guy “discovered”. And everyone in the comments is like “yea man you’re the first person I seen to really hit it in the nail”. Like complete echo chamber, not even an attempt interact with anything that isn’t being spoon feed to them. but still to them this is a “merky situation at best” and “they’re not questioning LEO’s actions. Like Jesus are we serious? I know this is going to get taken down cuz it’s a meta post and some people on a conservative sub don’t account for a population, but holy fuck dude did we not all see an American person get basically executed by the US gov yesterday? I think the nicest interpretation you can have is that these officers are dumb asf, untrained, and trigger happy, which like why would we support bringing that to the neighbors with our kids? Like genuinely even if both of the shootings this year in Minnesota were completely by the book, to save an officer, or something, they have showed complete disregard for gun safety since it’s a miracle that no other officer got hit in the first or especially the shooting of Alex Pretti. Yet and still “ICE needs to do its job” is a constant thought because they’re so blinded by the lie that illegals have taken their jobs and money, and that ice is only going after the criminals which just isn’t true, you can look it up google it if you don’t agree. Facts don’t care about your feelings, man. And your lack of awareness to the facts got an innocent man murdered, and we’re like a quarter into this second Trump presidency.

If it’s any consolation, that sub has very few real people in it. On top of that, very few real people actually post. Most posts are locked to flaired users and even then are heavily moderated with plenty of replies removed.

Just for a second let’s assume that take is correct. It isn’t, but let’s play make believe for a second. That means several things are now going to be true.
1. The idiot that confiscated the weapon has the worst trigger discipline ever and should not be trusted with his own firearm.
2. Every person that opened fire has poor critical thinking skills (this is true in every scenario).
3. Everybody that fired a weapon in that video is now responsible for negligence and murder.
