    1. The Founding Fathers wanted a weak executive, so they would be hella confused how we got here.

“Good God, why is this man so orange? His hair, his posture, his skin. Is this a new disease outbreak?”

Washington: I told America that the two party system is bad for the country when I ended my presidency. WHY DIDN’T THEY LISTEN?!?

    4. I’m trying to find the anti-ICE party to cast my vote towards but I only see two pro-ICE parties, can you help me out here OP?

    5. Early presidents would settle disputes with a duel… you know with guns?! Do you really think that they would bat an eye at this?

      “Remember to vote”

      *person votes*

*people who reminded to vote get all pissy*

Might as well just command / tell people directly (your preferred) what or who to vote for or against because that is basically what you are saying.

“Its important for you to vote! … you voted _____?! Omfg why?!”

You said to vote and people make their own choice

But encouraging to vote for change is basically interfering with somebody elses free personal choice

They’d be WAY more horrified at the fact that black people aren’t longer slaves, women aren’t brood mares for the state, and how non land owning poors aren’t second class citizens anymore. Sick of this romanticization of the founding slave owners.

Instructions unclear, screamed “GENOCIDE JOE HAS GOT TO GO!” and encouraged people to refuse to vote for Democrats to “punish” them for the horrible crime of supporting a US ally against Iran-backed Islamic terrorists.

What the Founding Fathers would actually say:

“Wow, there’s a lot of *black people just walking around, huh?”

      (*they didn’t say black people.)

    10. They’d be disgusted that anyone other than white Christian (non Irish, German etc) men were allowed to vote or own land.

Given what’s going on with ~~the Gestapo~~ ICE currently, they’d probably be fedposting about militias like no tomorrow lol

Then they’d probably say the n-word.

    12. I’m 18 and just registered to vote today. My parents are in the teachers union and I’ve always been in love with the idea of voting and elections and learning about how the government works. I’m also grateful for the 19th amendment which is why I can vote. I may seem too optimistic, but I can’t wait until midterms, so I and my brother and my friends and everyone else my age can vote for the first time!

    13. The founding fathers were slave owners and misogynists I doubt they’d care as long as they remain deified

    14. Don’t wait until the midterms. Vote in the primaries so that the right candidates make it to the midterms. Every single seat in the house is up for re-election this year and one third of the senate. Research your local candidates, donate to their cause, engage with your friends and family about voting. Do the work

    15. Why am I turning a bind eye to all the ballot stuffing if I still have to get off my ass and vote?
