As a European i’m sad to say you lot voted for this. Not just this time but every time you put people in charge of hollowing out your education system, refuse to handle gun laws, refuse to do something about companies squeezing people with health insurance, create a divide between you lot.
This is not something that is just Trumps doing. This runs deeper.
Seeing how America is hurdeling ass over teakettle towards the 4th reich it scares me. But you know what scares me more? People just stand by and blow wistles. People protest peacefully, knowing full well they wont get to cast a vote ever again.
Children are being abducted, womens rights taken away, people shot in the street, all while Trump is severing ties and making enemies left and right and the american citizens talk about contacting their representatives. The same reps that voted for increasing ICE’s budgets, The same who broke up unions and took away your education.
Thinking democrat politicians will save you from this is naive and dangerous. But i fear the moment you’ll realise that it’ll be too late because your children will already be in work-camps and sold into slavery while you’ll be used as cheap labor and live in squalor.
The fact our European leaders are talking about turning away from America as a tradepartner or a techprovider is baffeling. But we’ll manage. We have the means and since the treath of America on Greenland, the will too since that did more to unite Europe then ANY politician here could have ever done. But you’ll be not enjoying that new togetherness since you’ll be ousted from the world and will stand alone.
An honest question: where do you lot draw the line of “this calls for action”? Apparently its not children being taken or people being shot in the street by your own governement. If not that, then where?
