It’s sad and pretty scary that the answer is probably along the lines of “how else would we get the general public to be terrified of protesting or observing our crimes”

That is photographic evidence of a United States Citizen being tortured on the street of a city in the United States by a paid member of the United States Goverment.

      Today.

    3. Reddit frowns upon people saying what we need to do to these animals. Hint: it rhymes with absolute poor reason.

I’m so glad I don’t have to be around my in-laws until next Christmas. I’m sure they’re cheering this shit on.

    5. Some context – on January 16, an injunction was issued by US District Judge Katherine Menendez barring ICE agents from using chemical irritants or retaliatory force against peaceful protesters and observers. Yesterday, the DOJ filed an emergency appeal arguing that the injunction hindered “officers’ ability to protect themselves and the public in very dangerous circumstances.” Today, the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued a stay on the injunction which allowed the resumption of chemical irritant use.

Now, how this is an example of officers protecting themselves and the public in very dangerous circumstances is beyond me.

    6. There’s one solution to this and I don’t have faith in the courts to be the one who solves it.

    7. They don’t see people. They are masked for a reason, so they don’t feel shame for what they’re doing.

At what point does a governor deputise all of their citizens as law enforcement officers to stop the ICE criminal gangs torturing and shooting innocent bystanders in the face?

Fun part is that a judge had previously ordered them not to pepper spray or detain peaceful protesters.

There is no law in this country any more.

I’m asthmatic and older, and if this was done to me it could likely be fatal. Assholes.

    11. How is this not attempted murder? At that close range and directly into their face, wouldn’t that suffocate a person who is also having their chest and lungs crushed as well?

I’m fairly certain it would be the end of me.

    12. OC less than a foot to eyeballs can cause eye damage, indeed excessive force, on top of the other stuff.

The pain is the point with these actions. And it is high time to reciprocate the point.

    14. This photo alone should be enough for the victim to win a juicy ass lawsuit. The money should be pulled from ICE’s budget.

Just like… why are ICE agents raping women who are being detained? Because our president encourages them to.

    16. Honestly, I’ve never seen someone legit try to kill someone with pepper spray…. by drowning. I have never seen someone try to kill someone like this. This is the first time.
