    1. Very beautiful, and I love how she is peering out of the undergrowth like a woodland creature.

    2. Oof, this is so gorgeous.  I can’t convey how much I love this piece.  The bold shaping and size with such a delicate and floral wrapped portrait set into it. The details on the gold, just oof!  This is wonderful craftsmanship, and a fine example of mixed media art. Edit: I wonder if the piece was made by one craftsman or if each piece was crafted by a different person in a series of steps.

This is the most beautiful lovers eye I’ve ever seen, worthy of fetching the *good* smelling salts. Having the eye set in a scene – and such a… *lovers* scene – gives so much more meaning to the piece, making it more than just a symbol, but something with personal significance. And it is gorgeously executed, both the painting and the ring. Oh, to know the story behind this!
