Anyone who lived before Jesus who committed no sin are basically sent to Hell (in Limbo, the tamest part of Hell, but it’s still Hell)

      For some consideration,

Brutus and Cassius was sent to the deepest part of hell, along with Judas

Brutus and Cassius were the ones who help in assassinating Julius Caesar

(Dante was definitely a Julius glazer)

Dante gave people the absolute wrong idea of hell.
For once, people who were born before Jesus and did not committed any sin, were not going to hell.
And hell is not based on levels. Hell is not a pit of fire and dispair. Hell is a void, a place without God.

edit: as darkness is the absence of light, hell is the absence of God.

No one other than Jesus has lived sinlessly. That’s what makes Jesus the fulfillment of the old covenant. He observed the law perfectly which made him spotless and thus worthy of sacrifice for sin. We don’t deserve the sacrifice but only perfect sinless blood can cover sin.
