Looks like nature’s version of a surprise loot box open one tidal pool and boom, instant aquarium.

To think we have such a fascinating world all around us that’s too small to notice

I hope we can learn to love all the little creatures before we wipe them out, as much as it is too late for so many and will be too late for many more soon. I hate thinking about our children passing their lives in a bland world where such wonders are only sad memories. I can only imagine they will be furious with us.

I would never survive as an early human because I see something bright and colorful like the first creature and my first instinct is aww how cute I want to hold it and give it a little kith

Every single creature looks like it has its own personality. The way they move around is so cute for no reason.

When you walk on the beach and say step in one of those shallow puddle areas. Does the weight of your step kill these little fish inside?

I hate TikTok videos that create straw man arguments that nobody’s ever said just so the content creator can look all free-thinking and defiant.
People snorkel in shallow water as much as deep water. No one would care if you did this.

As I was scrolling I first thought this was a NSFW bloated dead body halfway submerged in a shallow creek…that someone forgot to blur.😁

Rock pooling has been my favourite past time since I was a child who realised that the sea was not a blank canvas.

When the ebbing tide retreats, along the rocky shoreline. It leaves a trail of tidal pools, in a short lived galaxy. Each microcosmic planet , a complete society. A simple kind of mirror to reflect upon our own. All the busy little creatures chasing out their destinies. Living in their pools they soon forget about the sea.
