It’s not even just dying, it’s always some utterly horrific, beyond traumatizing nightmare death. I’m sure Subaru would be doing a lot better mentally if there was more “skull instantly crushed by a boulder” and less “eaten alive by a swarm of demon rabbits from the inside out”.
