The most frightening thing is that pointing out the fascism doesn’t even deter the Trump Administration or Republicans. They lean into it like it is a good thing.
Because fascism is such a great model for running a country. Just look at the wonderful historic examples!

Real life is a better adaptation of 1984, then the crappy movie
If that’s how he feels, he shouldn’t be dropping out of the governor’s race. Very few people are actually in a position to effect real change, and he’s choosing to walk away without putting up a fight. That feels like a missed responsibility. I expected more from him.

Impressive that an admin that can barely read is doing such a good adaptation of the novel.

The majority of white people who voted on November 5th, 2024: ‘We DGAF! In case you’ve forgotten, what we care about is the cruelty to LGBTQ, non-white people, and anyone who gets in our way. Deal with it because we’re only one year in and there’s at least three plus more years of this.’
*Among those who voted, 60% of white men and 53% of white women supported a racist, fascist, sexist pedophile.*

I like Walz, but saying “It certainly feels like that in this moment” makes him sound a decade late to a realization most of us reached long ago.
