In the 80’s being addressed this way was a compliment to myself and my bff. Rip Vivienne.

April 1944 was a couple months before D-Day. It’s wild to me that there were still police running around booking weedheads and tramps when the country was so entrenched in the most important conflict in all of history. I mean it makes sense you still need a domestic police presence but still it’s hard to wrap my head around.

I want to hang out with Phyllis, she seems fun.

Tramp is an old fashioned term for homeless, so basically she was arrested for drug possession and vagrancy.

This seems so crazy and unprofessional, but then I remember how we’re just shooting people in the streets now, so I guess perspective is key.
My kind of people.
I know people that would be SO proud of this.
Tramp meant vagrant back then
Remember when the San Diego PD shot a 16 year old kid dead a year ago for no reason whatsoever?
I think “weedhead” is the more interesting of the two.
Tramp at the time meant “homeless” a crime in California until at least the 1970s.
Wood.
Also, would.
I think I partied with Phyllis once.

I’m a weed head skank too
Phyllis was just ahead of her time.
Tramp was another word for hobo or homeless person at that time.
She looks like someone that Carrie would play on Portlandia.
Looks like she could have been in a 90s alt rock band. Ahead of her time.
Died at 35 too…nothing to be celebrated.
