    2. There’s a slight young Winona Ryder vibe to this pic. Of course Marilyn came first, and maybe it’s only this pic, but still.

    3. Regarding comments about her happiness: This series of photographs was taken by Milton Greene. Greene was a confidant around whom she could be herself. Most likely suffering from bipolar disorder, happiness for Marilyn was always fleeting throughout her career… a voracious reader, and a student of Lee Strasberg’s, society would not accept Marilyn for who she really was

    4. Not many have reached her level of ability in creating such a sublime public persona, her greatest artistic achievement. What we’re seeing in these photos is a master at work.
