“Space is big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big it is.”

And just think, the thing that created all that is really, really worried about what you do with your ding dong.

    3. But not really. The earth is flat and sits on the back of a giant turtle. There is no universe, just a … pond, I guess? Probably has Lily pads? I don’t know, I’m not a scientographer nor an astrologer!

    4. Try this one on for size. The distance from the Sun to Proxima Centauri is 6700 times the distance fron the sun to Pluto.

    5. So how close are we to that bright star to the bottom right of us that appears to be significantly larger then our whole solar system?

    6. Space soo big we might never be able tpo contact any extraterrestrial life…

      Fermi paradox

    7. So how is this picture taken from outside looking inwards, what mapped it. Telescopes?

      Hum…

Earth has a physical size and location within the Milky Way. So do stars, planets, nebulae, and even entire galaxies. They all occupy *space.* And the universe? How can this be?

    9. Guys it’s not saying that our solar system is located in the box. It’s simply providing scale for some of the formations in our universe

    10. This zoom is great. What is the name of the probe taking these pictures. Must be old, since it has such low resolution.
