Because cocaine and drugs like that are illegal and the US doesn’t want to break the law or anything rash. They just want to forcibly take over a sovereign nation for the totally legal oil they have.

Because there isn’t enough cocaine and fentanyl in the world to fill a single tanker, let alone several.
Besides, you’d probably need a bulk carrier for powder, not a tanker.

Oil is more important to Trump than drugs. They are his weapon of mass destruction in order to invade counties. He has been preaching about fentanyl from canada so I’m expecting him to invade us any day now and take our oil too.

Because Trump can’t skim of the top of drug sales, but he can for oil sales. He’s undoubtedly becoming enriched, perhaps by donations from oil companies, to grab oil reserves. It’s about money. They use the drug narrative to sell it to the public.

Safer and easier to sell oil and for trump to put it in his pocket

If we remove the names of the countries and just report what the US has done over the last few months including what ICE has done, killing people on boats, attacking and removing the leader of a sovereign nation, and of course covering up the despicable acts committed by the leader of this anonymous country, we would be ready to force the overthrow of that government. Unfortunately, the US isn’t going to invade the US, although we should.

The fentanyl & cocaine excuse was for November & December, it’s January now so we switched to oil & non-US dictators are bad, which will likely stay until POTUS’s dementia kicks in & blurts out some other reason & everybody pivots to that

Because they pay off the Port authority. And it’s not like there are tankers full of it, your looking at one shipping container with drugs and probably women since human trafficking uses the same channels.
Trump has been totally honest about this though, all the other Republicans are talking about ending a dictators reign and fox the country and Trump keeps interrupting saying “were gonna go in there and fix the oil, our oil companies are gonna go in there and get all the oil and then maybe we return control to the people” it’s to the point he doesn’t even have to lie.

That would be because while Venezuela does have some cocaine production it’s not a major player therefore there are no major halls of cocaine and they don’t even touch fentanyl.

They only send drugs in itty bitty speedboats.
There’s no oil onboard that tanker.
