Good for peaceful operations…. Terrifying for war. One hand can easily choke a human, as the other one penetrates the rib cage and pulls out the heart..

These guys are begging for a robot rebellion.
      Edit: rebellion instead of invasion.

I grew up resenting robots, maybe it’s because of Clone Wars I don’t like rusty battery sucking, chrome-skinned, greasy wire back clankers

    4. What are the chances of universal basic income happening? I could see this replacing MANY jobs in the future.

    5. Im assuming its the cost that is preventing us from seeing this robot with a hatchet and mace taking on another robot with nun-chuks and a sword?

Shiiit. AI & SkyNet about to take over. This is a (somewhat) genuine fear of mine. I believe that if we don’t curb the potential issues now soon it will be too late. But these companies only see dollar signs & I hope they’re not throwing caution to the wind.

Future killing machines, used in war and non-war scenarios. We should be afraid.

    8. Tesla can do this too. They just need to replace the Tele operator who break their necks every 30 seconds.

    9. Impressive and mouth opening, but knowing the greed of companies… I also feel discomfort.

Lmfao we are going to ruin global society with robots. What a time to be alive.

    11. I used to think these things were cool, now all I’m seeing is my future job replacement.

    12. Lots of alarmists, but honestly the most dangerous thing about this is that there is a very gray area between robots unable to do human things and robots fully able to do all human things that is messy to navigate.
Messy as in, we can’t offload all work to robots, because some types of work can be heavily offloaded, leading to mass unemployment to sone areas, while others are fine. Messy as in, the pace and scope of what robots/AI can do may change rapidly, leading to difficulty for people to know where to change their attention/careers to for stability. Messy as in our economy was designed for low unemployment and we can easily discuss things like a universal income if no employment is needed, but there’s no clear idea of fairness for a world where we need some people to be fully committed to work while others can’t do meaningful work no matter how bad they want it.
