How to shed a gecko’s skin

This is absolutely harmful to the pet. Let your reptiles shed on their own then then help them with any stuck shed if that happens (and then look into your habitat humidity levels because they shouldn’t need help). And even then “helping” is more holding a wet towel for them to rub on

Edit: to all of you saying I’m wrong because a voice in the video said otherwise. The person in the video is lying. How would shooting air be the proper way to do it vs giving them something moist and abrasive to rub against themselves. What sounds closer to what they would do in the wild

Please don’t do this, they will shed their skin naturally and don’t need help in most cases. You can only harm your animal by doing this.

Stupid title. Now at *least* one person who watched this without the sound is going to try that on their gecko

    4. The next YouTube short said this is an online trend and these geckos are perfectly capable of shedding their skin on their own 🤷

    5. Can’t believe there’s people out there blowing geckos and I can’t even get a date.

    6. This is straight up just abuse. Even IF geckos have trouble shedding it’s NOT for a full body shed like this.

On the absolutely LOWEST fucking chance it’s a full body shed that it needs help with, you don’t fucking blow on it like a balloon. Jesus fucking Christ what is wrong with people?
