    1. That game was amazing! Also everyone was freaking out about all the blood, it was super fun.

    2. The ‘ooooooowaaaaaw’ at the end, gets me every. single. time.

Had the original in Sega Genesis and remember being AMAZED by the graphics…also being stoked to own the Genesis version vs the Super Nintendo which had no blood.

Meanwhile – ABACABB entered on the loading menu of Genesis and you had full on arcade style cartoon carnage! Also great memories of showing my grandmother the fatality sequences.

    4. As I recall, isn’t this the one that also introduced Babalities?  Been awhile since I’ve played.

    5. The hunt for the most arcade perfect version on consoles back in the days, good times.

As a Reptile main who absolutely HATES Liu Kang… this is annoying to watch.

This is the first time I’m seeing this but I wish I could have played this mortal Kombat

My fatality is usually the walk up and punch. Because I’d mess up the combo.

    9. The golden era of arcades. Dropping quarters just to hear ‘FINISH HIM!’ and attempt a fatality 😎

FINISH HIM!! Still the most satisfying words in gaming history. MKII was peak 90s 🔥

    11. I disagree. Mortal Kombat is a very good game, but I think Donkey Kong is the best video game ever.

Hearing the announcer yell FINISH HIM while your friends watched… pressure was REAL

    13. So when he transforms back into a human, does he still have an entire torso in his stomach?

    14. Man which game was the one where you fell down a very deep pit into spikes. It was somewhere between this and the xbox 1 phase (I know, pretty wide timespan) and had very similar graphics. I was young though and just can’t remember, the rage of the loser as they fell down the pit is a very distinct memory for me and my relatives though XD.
