      Not beefing, just curious. They are very amusing!

    2. Hilarious watching these, the giant empty ones didn’t release the gas and just put in oven, the super dense one didn’t have a good starter and baked dead dough, no idea what’s going on with the gooey ones, didn’t bake enough?

      My first sour dough came out normal, idk how to screw it up as bad as some of these.

    3. Some of them could be fine if they let it rest for an hour or two instead of cutting right into it

      It’s one of those things it is really easy to screw up but with a lil practice it’s pretty easy to come up with consistently good loafs and it’s so rewarding

    6. I was going to start baking my own bread, but my kid got a job at Panera.
      After 4 days we have more bread than we need.

    7. I love how these range from an empty shell, glue slime, and a sliced eraser.

      Sourdough apparently has evolutionary forms. I just think we saw them go in the wrong order.

    9. My wife started doing sourdough a couple months ago. Funnily enough I think her first loaf was her best one and now shes all self conscious about it. Loaf #6 on thursday I think

    10. I haven’t made sourdough in a long while, but this is just the result of being lazy no? Either not careful enough with the starter or just didn’t knead and let rest enough

    11. I know I am a disgusting man, but seriously I still wanted to try a few of those dry centre ones!!!

      Those hollow ones just chuck a block of butter and a little salt in there and shake it till it all melts

      My sourdough has always come out normal. I don’t even know how they’ve managed to do this.

    15. Most overrated bread ever. The French already reached peak bread with their white bread like baguettes and larger loaves of the same type. Why make a more annoying and lesser tasting version of that?

    16. I literally bake for living and don’t know how they f’d this up. So much inconsistency!

    17. Bread is the kind is thing that takes forever to knead, rest, rise, ect. It’s very frustrating when you spent all that time and it’s a brick.

    18. Many of these they added too much flour while kneading. Some they over kneaded and some they didn’t knead enough. It’s *supposed to* stick to your fingers.

    19. I’m assuming the raw dough versions HAVE TO BE Dutch ovens that were not preheated themselves.

      It’s okay, I intended to make 2 loaves of bread for Christmas – one for the stuffing, and one for the dinner – I ended up making 8 and not a single one came out right, so we ended up with stuffing, bread sauce, bread pudding, and a Strata for the next day’s breakfast.

    21. Last one would have made a killer bread bowl for clam chowder if they just cut the bottom off instead of in half lol
