People commenting on how Madura actually had more police escorting him than the picture shows are severely missing the point. One person is a nobody who allegedly murdered a billionaire/ceo, the other is a hated dictator who committed many human rights violations over a decade, collapsed an economy through corruption, caused millions of people to flee their homeland in fear, and allegedly committed several federal crimes in the US. He should absolutely have more of an escort, that’s not the argument.
The point, is that billionaires live in a different world of justice than everyone else, and they made a ridiculous and expensive public display to prevent anything like that happening again. Because they are scared.
