Portrait of a Roman – around 25 years old – made on wood. The man was certainly of better origin. The object is dated to 31 BCE. [564×708]

Toy from Ancient Greece, c.450 BCE: this doll was crafted in the form of a woman with a rolling pin, and it has articulated joints that allow the rolling pin to be pushed back and forth [3914×5387]

Renaissance case in the shape of a trout with six knives, possibly Italian, circa 1570. [1121×645]
