It was only a matter of time 🤣 the US government saw that the majority of that country’s population was angry with their leadership, and then to top it off they had oil. A win win situation.
I’ve met plenty of Venezuelans that have told me that they’d gladly give up their oil if this exact thing were to happen so that they could go back home. Sort of a bitter sweet ending.
