I think this goes to show how bad russia fumbled ukraine. They were so close to just stomping day 1, but it was so telegraphed that zelinsky knew to prepare. Imagine they had an ounce of competence, kept it closer to the chest until the day of the invasion. Very different outcome, scary to think about.
