    1. Starting a war is always wrong. The only good roll in war is ending one.

Trump needs an enemy and a hot war by the midterms to justify whatever shenanigans Republicans have planned to overturn getting their asses handed to them.

No Democrat who beats an incumbent Republican will be sworn in. Want to bet?

    2. Maybe it has something to do with Venezuela sitting on over 304 billion barrels of oil, which is the world’s largest reserve. I mean, we went after Iraq, which sat on a lot of oil due to Weapons of Mass Deception so this only makes sense. Plus, the orange POS can temporarily move some of the heat off his noncompliance with the FULL release Epstein files.

    3. I don’t believe there is going to be a war. But the U.S. owns security in the region for the next decade, at least, now. South America has been a quagmire for the past century. The major problems in Venezuela are economic, and that’s not going to fix itself with a change in leadership. It’s good that Maduro is out because Venezuelans voted him out a long time ago. He was illegally occupying the Venezuelan presidency.

But I also don’t think the American public is going to care much. The American public is *very* anti-interventionist from a military perspective. The memory of Iraq is fresh. Trump will trot it out as some sort of win, but at the end of the day people are still struggling to pay for their groceries.
