Innocent peoples lives at stake here all because some grumpy orange got hungry for his sweet sweet oil ( Venezuelas got 300 billion barrels of it )

first the swiss ski resort explosion and now this… great start to 2026!

    2. I remember just a few days ago people were joking “looks like venezuela needs democracy” after that chart for largest oil reserves came out.

    3. all of this to not release the Epstein files unredacted with the only exception being the victims’ names and faces. America First is going great, eh?

    4. Venezuelan living in Venezuela here. I can only hope for two things:

      1. That this whole thing is over as quickly as possible.

      2. That Maduro and his cronies are no longer in power by the end of it.

I have mixed feelings about this. Many Venezuelan could be celebrating right now…..

On the one hand, I hope Maduro’s term ends. And you know what I mean by that.

But on the other hand, and this is very difficult to explain, it could be “the oil,” and many will blame “imperialism,” but we mustn’t forget that Venezuela’s best times were precisely when foreign oil companies were working there.

I remember as a child, Venezuela was THE place to go. Now it’s the place TO AVOID.

For many years, but especially during Maduro’s time, the situation in Venezuela has been a complete and utter mess. Countries like Colombia, Peru, and Chile, in particular, have had to deal with massive waves of immigration, whether due to political persecution, extreme poverty, crime, and violence. And among them, the criminals who were let’s say “suffocating” the honest citizens started following them because, “why not?” With super weak border controls, weak legislation… many Venezuelan gangs are now operating with ease abroad

In the end, the host countries have had to deal with the same garbage and violence, creating a crisis similar to the one being experienced worldwide. It’s a shame that these things happen…

So, the question or reflection that remains is: Since Venezuela is a sovereign country, no other country should interfere in its internal problems. Right?

But if its internal problems spill over beyond its borders, should neighboring countries take action? Because, let’s be honest… Maduro is no saint. My conflict lies in “why the US?” Well, there are also geopolitical reasons. It’s no joke having a country allied with Iran and Russia in the Caribbean. I detest the current US administration, but as I said, it’s a case of mixed feelings, and I hope this time it has to do with things other than oil.

For the record, people are happy about this. I was just in a call with 15 or so Venezuelans; old and young, and it’s a celebration. They’re hoping that SOMEONE fucking liberates their country. They’re hoping that’s it.

    7. And i guess Nato and Europe once again wont sanctionize the USA. Every Nato Member is a puppet state to the US

Why is alright to do this to the aggressor for Venezuela but not for the aggressor in Ukraine

Your “peace” president who demanded a Nobel prize, America. How proud you all must be.
