My friends and I were just talking about this the other night. Mine do this, too! It’s like every other day and the skin looks completely normal by the end of the day. Then repeat. It’s so weird. Does yours do that too or is it more consistent?

Wow, that’s so fascinating! Does it get uncomfortable when your palms shed, or does it just naturally happen without any irritation?

Could this be chilblains? My MIL and daughter get them though they don’t have peeling. Chilblains can cause peeling in some folks!

    4. I get this sometimes. Never really got a good explanation from my doc.

Cerave cream seems to help.  Also helps to wear gloves when cleaning around the house. Frequently needing to wash them or exposing them to cleaners seems to make it worse.

    5. As a kid my fingers used to do this in the fall time. Hasn’t happened in a while, though.

    6. I had a similar recurring skin problem on my feet for many years – decades, maybe. It turned out to be a fungal infection, and some anti-fungal meds over a month or so eliminated it forever.

    7. I had a similar condition in elementary school caused by boredom and a close proximity to glue.

Does it itch? An ex of mine said he used to have this peeling palm issue with itchiness and turned out he was allergic to the ivory soap he used to wash his hands. Maybe try a different soap and see if this continues?

This happens to me every summer.

First it’s super itchy and small red bubbles come up, then the skin peels from the finger tips and the edges through to the middle of the palms.

My doctor has blown it off as eczema, but pretty sure it isn’t.

This is a dermatological condition brought about by excessive hand sweat (counter intuitively) cause by the changing of season. The hands will become covered in small fluid filled bumps (the are very small), which may itch. Then they rupture and it becomes like this. Use hand cream for a faster recovery.

    11. My hands do this too. It happens every autumn. After a long time I discovered it’s caused by me touching a type of crab that I consume every autumn. After that, I start to wear gloves when I eat crabs, and it didn’t happen since.
