Go to a restaurant and enjoy…exactly what you could have at home for way less. Thank goodness we have office breakroom microwaves nowadays.

I washed dishes at a soup and sandwich place in a large Michigan shopping mall. The owners, an elderly couple, worked the counter and I could hear them promise in their thick Hungarian accents that everything was homemade. I sometimes collected and boxed all the empty industrial-sized Campbells soup cans.
