    1. So, that’s New Mexico and Castle Black on either side of you according to film color grading standards.

    2. My room (in which I also have my desk) faces north and I swear summers are much more bearable. If I keep my window shut, there are days where I’m able to wear a sweatshirt while my mom (south room) has the AC on.

    3. You could install a light tube here or possibly one on each side of the roof. I’m amazed at how well they work.

Rented a room in Toronto like this, mine was on the left. Space heater was clutch lol.

    5. Growing up my bedroom faced east, my sisters had west. My room was a solid 15 degrees warmer through the day. By the time the sun was on the other side day was cooling down and they weren’t bothered by it. Grew up poor in the SW, no ac lol.

It’s kind of like those photos where people take a picture of their side mirror while driving, that shows a beautiful sunny sky ahead but the mirror shows a black gloomy sky behind them.

    7. Wouldn’t matter to me.
I keep my ~~dungeon~~ bedroom windows covered with blackout curtains and such anyways.

When you’ve worked night shifts most of your working career and have to sleep during the day you learn how to make the room dark.

    8. Imagine studying and analyzing the lives of two individuals, one who lived their entire life in a north facing house/apartment and one in a south facing house/apartment.

I bet that would give some really interesting insights.
