The Yeosu–Suncheon rebellion was a few thousand soldiers defecting in response to the utter brutality displayed by the “ROK” forces who massacred tens of thousands of people including women and children on Jeju in order to maintain control of the country. “ROK” forces reportedly massacred entire villages and hauled off the young women for their pleasure before executing them. Utterly shameful thing to smile about.
