My favorite part of Napoleon’s invasion of Russia was the correspondence between the Prussian contingent of his army and the Russians, Clausewitz talks about it in *On War* briefly. They were, understandably, ready to dip at the drop of a hat.

To be honest. From what I learnt from all the memes of Russia being invaded by Napoleon and Hitler is that invading Russia from the West during the Winter is stupid.
You need to be Horse Riding Nomads invading from the East instead.
