My aunt had a little sign YEARS ago, in the 90’s that said “Back door guests are best” and she never thought anything of it other than the meaning that people that come to your back doors are usually close friends — until my (now) uncle saw it and started laughing

    2. My grandmother has this on her porch. Only difference is instead of the heart she has a pineapple. Wherever she bought it mistakenly attached it upside down. Us grandkids think Nan never noticed

Hahaha I have one from my grandparents house says the same thing. We laughed and laughed about it. Like did they know?

I remember hearing a story the Kevin Smith had one of these signs hanging by his back door at one point.

This is what art is! I love back door friends, it’s better than back door enemies. Well, not all the time.

    6. Eh, I’m old. Back in the 80s this REALLY MEANT your neighbors who wandered from their back yard to yours when the kids were playing outside. They showed up at church craft fairs and people put them over the door to the back yard.

    7. Yeah guarantee you they did not only redditors have “humor” if u can even call it that on here 😂

    8. There’s a local cat rescue in my area called Back Door Friends. Better yet my ex is a local/public tv host and watching her talk do a segment about back door friends was something else!)

    9. Pointless bit of knowledge but on Letterkenny, over the back door at Wayne and Katy’s house there’s a sign with farm animals that says “Backdoor guests are best”.
