My cousin’s step dad owned a company that did custom printing (like 25-30 years ago) and I remember it being a big deal that they got a machine that could print on golf balls (accounting for the dimples).
Maybe there have been advancements in the field over the last few decades, but if not, someone might have spent a decent amount of money to have those balls made up for what was likely a not all that funny joke…?
