Retook this picture and put these in a frame for Christmas. He said he planted them from the same grocery store orange when he was 10. They've been in the same pots my whole life and get brought in from the snow every winter. They have never bloomed or produced fruit but are healthy. He's excited to pass them on to me and my brother.

Such a beautiful legacy! 🌱💚
Adorably wholesome and sweet.Â
This is super sweet, but if those trees had gotten in the ground they’d be massive now.
Those didn’t come from grocery store oranges, no chance. Those are clearly on miniature rootstock.
That’s some long term commitment right there, those trees have outlasted trends, presidents, and probably a few family arguments. Honestly impressive they’re still thriving while the rest of us are just trying to keep a houseplant alive.
What an amazing way to show growth over time and both your dad and the trees have come so far
Why leave them in pots? My orange tree is about nine years old, and five times the size of that.
