– [Autographed image from the University Archives auction house indicating Foley, Nixon, Speirs, and Welsh](https://www.universityarchives.com/auction-lot/b-w-photo-of-easy-company-at-hitler-s-eagles-nest_b8448b3b84). Winters signed at the bottom right, likely not to interfere with Nixon’s signature. Compton’s autograph appears as well but not near any individual possibly indicating his absence from this photo.
– [Geographical analysis by Vince Gilkey and Ruud van Wetering](https://www.facebook.com/joelstoppelsbftours/posts/on-may-3-1945-colonel-robert-sink-was-ordered-to-prepare-the-506th-parachute-inf/3157004924568786/) on the location *not* being at the Eagle’s Nest and likely *”…taken near the Dietrich Eckart Krankenhaus in Stanggaß – Bischofswiesen. On the slopes of the Baderlehenkopf.”*
– [Profile on John van Kooyk](https://www.abandofbrothers.net/html/kooijk/vankooyk-eng.html) the Dutch Resistance member at the very left.

– [Supporting annotations](https://www.reddit.com/r/BandofBrothers/comments/178mms3/eagles_nest_easy_company/k51h6zp/) from /u/yo2sense. The only 2 that are in contradiction are Foley/Walker and Speirs/Henderson. Repeated here for ranks:
John van Koojik
SGT John Zielinski
~~LT Thomas Gibson (XO of 2nd Battalion HQ Company)~~ CPT Jack Foley
PFC William A. Walker Jr.
PFC William E. Patterson
PFC Steve Mihok
CPT Lewis Nixon
~~PFC David B. Henderson~~ CPT Ronald Speirs
MAJ Richard D. Winters
T/5 George Haddy
CPT Lloyd J. Cox (CO of 2nd Battalion HQ Company),
LT Harry F. Welsh
I wonder what they all became after the war
I still think Speirs got robbed of the CMoH for his Run at Foy.
They nailed the casting for Nixon, if I didn’t know better I’d say it was Nixon in Office Space…
Currahee!!
High Ho Silver!!!
