This 2500′ long roll of plastic wrap that my parents bought just shy of 30 years ago. Finally died on Christmas day.

    1. This thing saw: 9/11, the 2007 crash, 7 presidents and prime ministers, the birth of 2 kids, the death of 4 grandparents, many pets, the assassination of several political figures, and at least 2 wars. Wow.

Is it anything like the clingwrap from hell we have now? Because when I DO have to use it, I go through the box so easily since it sticks to EVERYTHING but the food I need it to cover.

    3. Almost old enough the first parts thrown out are starting to think about decaying in a few thousand years.

    4. We bought a house and the previous owner left a gigantic Costco roll of plastic wrap that was already opened and used. It was originally 750′ and I swear to god 5 years later it doesn’t look any different.

      Sorry for your families loss.

    5. Hahah – my parents have the exact same one with the year written on it too! Also has to be almost 20 years old.

    6. Just bought my newly engaged friends a Costco cling wrap and aluminum foil. They’ll be good for awhile.

    7. We have cling film that size that was bought in January 2008.

You’ve given me hope it’ll go before I’m dead. 😂😂

    8. Omg I’ve seen that packaging! Im 33 but I swear I’ve seen it sold in Canada about 20 years ago

Died on the one day it could not be immediately replaced because stores are closed. It knew how to go out with a bang.

That is interesting but on a side note I see beans but when I swipe there is no second picture of the owner of those beans.

I had this EXACT roll in my childhood home for basically my whole childhood. I was so sad when it finally ran out about 2 years ago. Like saying goodbye to an old friend

My mom gave me an opened one when I moved out in 2011. It’s been in 3 different houses and just ran out last month.
