    1. It’s pretty remarkably rare to get stuff like this, or a missing or swapped piece. But Lego has a good policy for sending replacement parts. Can all be done online by selecting the kit and then the actual part with a little explanation of what’s wrong. Postage system is what takes the longest

      OP I’m pretty sure you could sell this for a decent amount to a rare brick collector

    3. When an injection molding machine starts up it takes time to warm up, so the first few pieces to come off the line have a “short shot” condition which is basically what you see here. Other issues can cause short shots, but the only time I have seen 50% fill like this has been due to start up. LEGO has famously high quality control, so it really is surprising to see this made it through.

    4. Hey I just built that! Got it as a Christmas gift, cool set! I would hav ebeen so happy to get a ‘misprint’ piece, I collect misprinted Magic the Gathering cards, getting a misprint lego would be such a treat!
