There is nothing about Trump now that wasn’t known in 2016. No shoulda, coulda, woulda deserves any respect.

I don’t understand why people hate on him. He fell for Trump in 2016, learned his lesson and did not vote for him again

To loosely quote Disco Elysium “This is where the applauds and pats on the back end – no more congratulations. This is just how regular people live everyday”

I’m not clapping him on the back for making it to the base level of understanding we’ve been on.

    4. No. No respect.

Admitting you were wrong after contributing to this chaos deserves a polite clap and an admonition to not do this again, not praise, and certainly not respect.

    5. People who voted for Trump ONCE are the only ones who can actually earn forgiveness for their mistake.

    6. I asked my cousin (who voted for Trump twice) how he felt about Trump’s presidency since we’re almost a year in. He said “I don’t know yet, like you said it’s only going to be one year.” I hit him with “but this is his second term, so that answers doesn’t really fly.” Crickets on his part. I’ve seriously tried to understand these people, but going into ‘26 I’m just done.

    7. His first mistake was voting based on religion. We’re trying to run a country here, not a church. There’s a reason we have separation of church and state.

now if he could somehow connect that organized religion is also to blame, he’ll really be getting somewhere

Also helps that he had his realization earlier than most. Like it really took you 3 elections to figure it out?
