The US overthrowing Manuel Noriega after once supporting him is hypocrisy, but Vietnam doing the same with Pol Pot is heroism?

No no no you just dont get it! America bad! Non of that other stuff matters when America bad!

    2. Wait until you learn why America bombed “neutral” Laos during the Vietnam War

SPOILER ALERT: they were bombing Vietnamese troops who had invaded Laos to support the Communists in the Laotian Civil War, and were also using the captured territory to run the Ho Chi Minh trail

    3. I mean, had the US not acted against Vietnam independence in the 1950s, Pol Pot would have never become relevant.

The main issue was the Sino-Soviet split actually. Cambodia was aligned with China while Vietnam was aligned with the Soviet Union. Vietnam was never the primary patron of the Khmer Rouge. The invasion happened because of escalating border clashes and the breakdown of relations between the Vietnamese communists and Chinese communists

    5. Red China is simply so hated for so many things that most haven’t got around to condemn their support of Khmer Rouge.

    6. Honestly, we should blame all great powers in the world and region for the time. Madness in Cambodia cannot be explained by anything, China was helping regime that killed Chinese, Vietnam “created” Khmer Rouge that in the future killed all Vietnamese in Cambodia and started war with them, USA was supporting Pol Pot’s regime to be representative of Cambodia in UN because puppet regime established by Vietnamese after kicking Red Khmers asses was pro Vietnamese(it was after Vietnamese war)

All this for political gains but at the end no one got anything. China lost it’s influence in country, Vietnam eventually also lost it’s puppet government, USA supported genocidal government in exile that eventually eat itself. No one got anything but every fifth person in Cambodia died and more suffered for everything to go back to monarchy(?)
