On December 17, 1968, heiress Barbara Jane Mackle was kidnapped and buried alive in a glass coffin. She remained trapped for 3 days until her rescue. When asked how she remained so positive during her ordeal, she explained she just thought about spending Christmas with her family.

    1. “buried her in a shallow trench inside a fiberglass-reinforced box. The box was outfitted with an air pump, a battery-powered lamp, water laced with sedatives, and food. Two plastic pipes provided Mackle with outside air.”

According to wiki, the kidnapper became a doctor and practiced until 2003, when his license was revoked for not disclosing disciplinary actions during his residency. Lol

    3. Im 41 years old, I saw something about this on TV when I was really young, like 5 years old.

Claustrophobia is by far my biggest fear in the world. I always think about this when I think about being trapped in tight spaces. If you told me I would have to spend 3 days in this situation but I’d 100% be let out i dont think I could do it and I’d rather take a bullet

    4. Having vision issues and completely read that as “hairless” and was super confused (and concerned).
