The person’s name was Alan Turing. Show some respect, post-WW2 1950s British government.

Man they really put him between a rock and a hard place after all that work he did for the country

    2. Homosexuals persecuted by the Nazi regime and sent to the camps were also similarly jailed by the supposed Allied liberators

    3. There was a Scottish Nationalist politician here in Scotland who angrily objected when Westminster pardoned all the people historically prosecuted for being homosexual, and I have never hated a politician more.

For some reason this reminds me of a conversation I overheard at the dollar store today between a cashier and a customer. Was something like:

Customer: *something about complaining about her daughter’s dramatic flair*

Cash: oh I know all about drama queens, my kid could probably give her a run for her money

Customer: I thought you had a son

      Cash: My son’s gay

      And that was it.
I was thinking damn. I’m glad people acknowledge their teenager’s sexuality and aren’t ashamed of mentioning it in public anymore, but did you have to roast him so bad?

    5. Computers are, at their foundational level, queer coded, so anyone who uses a computer is gay
