These people don’t understand how things work, from queue lines to societal norms. You know how a gas station will have one long line that feeds into five registers and someone just walks up and stands behind a customer at a register and doesn’t understand how they just cut 8 people off in line? That’s one of these people. You know how someone will get pissed because they can’t order breakfast at 4pm even though it says you can’t order breakfast past 10:30? That’s one of these people. They have no idea how anything works, they don’t know what’s considered ok, and they need to be told what to do, what to think, how to act, etc. Sadly, almost my entire family is like this. Everyone over the age of 45 cannot figure out how to do anything on their own. Zero critical thinking skills. Zero logic. If they aren’t told to go stand in a line, they’ll just walk up and stand there until someone directs them. If they aren’t told this psychotic Kirk photo op shit is insane, they won’t know it. More importantly, though, if they’re told it’s cool, they’ll think it’s cool.
