perfect for ice cream cakes because you can remove the cardboard and slice the ice cream.

I kind of forgot this was common back in the 90’s. This is how I remember ice cream coming.

Make sure you store it upside down so it keeps a tight seal on the lid using the weight of the ice cream. The ice cream will get discolored and gunky within a week if you don’t do that.

Best kind of ice cream to buy for ice cream sheet cakes since you can slice it easily and layer.

Nice to see it can still be called ICE CREAM, a lot now can’t put that on their packaging now since it’s fake ingredients

That was common when I was a child in the 1980s
Then shrinkflation happened where they give you less ice cream in a fancier package at a higher price.

I’m curious, where are you that boxed ice cream is unusual? That’s pretty common in the Midwest, pretty much a guarantee if a local/store brand

There’s a Canadian brand called Chapmans that sells ice cream in a box like this. Their checker board ice cream is very cool when you take it out of the box and slice it with a knife. [https://www.chapmans.ca/class/markdale-creamery/page/2/](https://www.chapmans.ca/class/markdale-creamery/page/2/)
