    1. Ah, sovereign citizens, a movement founded on a historic precedent of success after success in court.

I called the police on it cause my taxes went up about 20% this year and this clown just is out here doing lord knows what

    3. I’m confused by the combination of the Bunker Hill and Moroccan flags. I know Morocco was the first country to recognize the US as a country but beyond that idk what the association here is

    4. Even if this bullshit worked it really irks me that these assholes feel entitled to use the roads and everything else paid for with taxes but don’t feel like they should have to contribute themselves. And what are the chances the prick has valid auto insurance?

    5. Lmao, we had a run of those guys in Michigan getting arrested for leading police on car chases. Guess how many times the Sov Cit defense kept them out of prison?

I once watched a video of a lady in court who said she was from the Cash Box Trush Tribe…. they are all batshit crazy

The “Do Not Detain” is sheer genius! It prohibits the cops from pulling him over. It’s better than a get out of jail free card because they can’t even put him in jail.

    8. As a side note, sovereign citizen is an oxymoron and unlikely to be the term that anyone you’d put in that category would ever use to refer to themselves or to explain their position.

You can only ever be sovereign, or a citizen, not both. It’s a catchy term though, like conspiracy theorist and anti-vaxxer that helps the news sell ads and governments to sell legislation to people who don’t know any better and can’t be bothered/don’t have time to look into things more.

I’d be curious to see what the defence would look like in court for that

    9. Yes, they will recognize you as a sovereign citizen, on your own property if they can’t find you. As soon as you are the public roads and visible, you are subject to the laws of liberty. Those laws are you keep your liberty as long as you obey the laws.

Do not detain. Damn it thats really all it takes? I am sure the police are stumped with that one

These guys think if you utter magic words you can fend off cops like vampires or something.

    12. I thought the Sovereign citizen thing was so amazing when I first learned about it, until I actually read up on it, and I witnessed two very public court cases in my state spank the people trying to use it.

    13. I do not support what is currently going on in our country, BUT if you wanted to let ICE round up all the sovereign citizens and send them to a prison in El Salvador, I would have zero problem with it. They *are citizens of the world* after all.

    14. Putting “Do Not Detain” on your license plate has the same energy (and effectiveness) as those old people who post “I HEREBY DECLARE THAT I DO NOT GIVE MY PERMISSION FOR FACEBOOK OR META TO USE ANY OF MY PERSONAL DATA.” It’s like they think they’re entitled special treatment if they talk like Foghorn Leghorn.

So by there standards I can commit murder and say “well I’m not American so you can’t arrest me” if they aren’t American then they’re who ICE should be going after.

    16. You should leave an anonymous tip with your local PD about an uninsured driver on your block.

    17. This is how you get locked up asap, I think they train for this shit now. Everywhere has borders, regardless if you believe in them or not. Earth is probably within some protected alien borders.

    18. This ‘plate’ is like those annoying bullshit mailers you get from “Finance Department” – Open Immediately – RE: Your Loan Under Review – Private and Confidential

    19. Everyone has a crazy neighbor or two. Some just aren’t as considerate as yours when it comes to announcing themselves as such.
