      That’s retail math at work. One is six feet if you count the stand, the tip, and maybe wishful thinking. The other is six feet in actual reality.

      The Balsam Hill stand also puts ours up off the ground an additional 8 inches to a foot, give or take.

    4. I am willing to bet that the top branch on the tree on the left can be unbent to become “6 feet.”

    6. The first tree might not be assembled right.

      We have one in a side room that can be several inches too short if you just let the tree sit fully down in the base. You have to hold it higher and tighten it
