Holy shit this is insane. You wouldn’t even see this level of ridiculousness in North Korea.

    2. Reagan was an a*hole and caused a lot of death and suffering, but we know that he wasn’t a fan of tariffs and he would have absolutely hated seeing the US as an obedient servant of Russia. Reagan would have opposed Trump and Trump/MAGA would have called him a RINO.

    3. Now I want to read the rest to see how he is flattered under every other presidential portrait.

“Abraham Lincoln often spoke of the greatest of future president donald j trump and how he would have prevented the civil war and gone on to win the coveted Fifa peace prize”

    4. Exactly how much of that tasteless tacky gold plated shit has Trump put up in the White House?

    5. Do all of the portraits have these? I need to see what William Henry Harrison’s says, since he was president for only a month after being an idiot who got himself sick.

    6. Trump just seems utterly incapable of displaying the smallest sliver of class or most minimal levels of human decency, to the point that supporting or even defending him in anyway really does speak to someones’ character.

This is some 1984 George Orwell Newspeak type of shit. The sad reality is some people will actually believe this.

I can’t believe they used the Trump-style capitalization grammar rules. WILD how far they lean into being dead-wrong as long as it irks liberals.

    9. “He was a fan of Donald J. Trump long before his historic run for the White House”

      Uh…………… fucking what?????????????????

    10. I read that the Reagans were not fans of Trump and that Trump had to join the queue with the herd at the one function he managed to get an invitation to just to get a handshake and photo with Reagan. I think he was behind Chauncey Gardiner but shoved him aside.

I just can’t. I am really just done. I am willing to go to war to make sure Trump doesn’t try for a third term.

    12. Just when you think it can’t get more cringe and weird

That ego of Trump seems to be bigger then phoenix a.

The Savings and Loan scandal and Iran-Contra are what I remember Reagan for. That and ending the Fairness Doctrine, and saying, while testifying before congress, “I don’t recall” so many times that it became an irony when he suffered from memory loss towards the end of his life

    14. All they’ve done is memorialize his most off the rails tweets in bronze. At some point some group of patriots will need to do something to save the nation from these corrupt incompetent traitors who have stolen it.

    15. What a petty, little child. Do you think Trump does this with the knowledge that people will line up to use his final resting place as a public toilet?

    16. We just have to hope he lives long enough to see all this shit get tossed in a dumpster by the next president

    17. I was curious what Reagan thought of Trump so I googled it and the first result was a article from People titled “Reagan White House Files Show Ronald and Nancy Repeatedly Snubbed Donald Trump and His ‘Large Ego’” nothing like rewriting the truth the praise the orange hemorrhoid

Trump has to be aware the day he’s out of politics he’s being shunned for all time by DC

    19. …let’s be real did Ronald Reagan even know or care about Trump?

Trump was a DEMOCRAT at the time that Reagan was president, and there’s plenty of evidence Reagan DIDN’T like his sleezy ass and was even snubbed by Nancy Reagan at one point.

      [Fuckin’ morons.](https://people.com/celebrity/ronald-reagan-snubbed-donald-trump-and-his-large-ego-white-house-files-show/#:~:text=Trump%20appears%20to%20have%20embellished,%2C%20he%20liked%20my%20attitude.%E2%80%9D)

Injecting his name multiple times onto plaques about previous Presidents is so on point for his narcissism.

    21. Trump puts his own name on the plaques and talks about himself. It’s more than comical now.

      America. WTF are you doing?

    22. I’m no fan of Reagan, but he’s probably turning over in his grave at how close this whitehouse is to Russia.

    23. rudolph_ransom on

Of course they praise him because his presidency is the root cause for today’s America.

(But where did he exactly win the Cold War?)

    24. I will always remember Ronald Reagan’s speech at the Brandenberg Gate… “Mr Gorbachev, Tear down this wall. It will make a great spot for a Donald Trump hotel and casino”
