It looks like there’s a whole sequence they go through and most or all of what is shown here is training and not a checkup. You can see fake cleaning of ears, taking temperature, checking lips and teeth, and giving injection in the arm.

In National Geographic’s show Meet the Chimps, there’s an episode where they show a vet training chimpanzees for these type of checkups.
