Commies usually do great things when they are not part of institutionalized power, because when they achieve that you discover which people were communist to the heart and which ones were basically power-seeking megalomaniacs (which now will do everything they can to erase the people of the movement that are communist to the roots of their souls, like partisans or unions)

this works GREAT. if you have bar around, you can lock your leg on it and hang your torso to imitate this. Highly recommend doing this once in a while. Oh, and check your pelvis tilt. Many people who work sitted all the time have back issues from misaligned pelvis(usually retreated)

The Soviet Union also made massive contributions to chemistry and physics. I remember talking to my boss, a phd chemist, talking about one of our suppliers in Russia. He said “it may not look pretty where they make the chemicals we buy from them, and it’s probably done in the back of a house in a barn, but god damn it do they make pure chemistry”.
