The door on the left leads to the soup kitchen. The soup kitchen was gifted to the city by Hürrem Sultan, the wife of the famed Ottoman sultan Suleiman the Great, the conqueror of Palestine and the builder of Jerusalem's city walls and defenses. The soup kitchen was part of a larger royal endowment that included a mosque, a hospice for pilgrims and a traveler's inn (a so-called caravanserai).

The red-white door on the right is the 14th century Palace of Lady Tunshuq, the home of a wealthy noble woman. Quite the girl power.

Amazingly, the soup kitchen is still operating, keeping the 500 year old endowment alive: https://www.csmonitor.com/World/Middle-East/2023/0726/Centuries-old-Jerusalem-soup-kitchen-serves-up-food-with-dignity
